On September 19th, the 5th Lushan International Romance Film Week had its grand opening in Mount Lu, China. At the launch event, an AI perspective promotional video creatively outlined various scenes of people falling in love in the fashion that transcends time and space, thus making movie fans and audience full of expectations for the diverse activities in this year’s film week.
Blending the spectacular scenery of Mount Lu with cinematic arts, this year’s film week will introduce the natural scenery, local customs, historical culture and other elements of Jiujiang City to the whole country and even the world. With more people recognizing the unique charm and value of Jiujiang City and more people experiencing Mount Lu through film screening, the film week takes “integration of film and tourism” as the starting point to create distinctive “Lushan style” romance. In order to create the “Film Week for Audience, Tourist and Mount Lu”, the entire event will facilitate the deep integration and further development of Jiujiang’s culture and tourism industry, ultimately branding “Mount Lu, the Land of Tranquility”.
As an echo with local cultural and tourism scenes, this year’s film week combines Mount Lu’s poetry and culture with different stages of love from the “first meet” to the “long-term codependence”, then to “growing old together”, thus presenting and promoting filmmakers exchange activities from the perspective of “Letting Mount Lu be the backing in your love”. At the “Central Video Reception Hall”, fans and audience have the opportunity to listen to outstanding filmmakers’exclusive insights on romance films both in China and abroad. Besides, they can follow the host and guests to explore the real scene in splendid Mount Lu. The continuous increase in international influence of the Film Week has brought together 20 excellent films from multiple countries, and audiences will experience the unique expressions of love in different countries through a series of love themed film screenings, such as Fast and Feel Love, Jeux d’enfants, and Red Sorghum. This year, the Lushan International Romance Film Week innovatively created online screening based on CMG Mobile, the flagship new media platform of China Media Group, to invite all online audience to watch classic Chinese and foreign love films conveniently.
